Post his Bigg Boss OTT 2 win, Elvish Yadav has been a part of several controversies, and his recent arrest in the snake venom case is one of them. On 17th March he was sent to judicial custody after which he admitted usage of snake venom. He was later lodged in Luxor Jail of Gautam Buddha Nagar. And now after 5 days he has finally been granted bail.
Elvish Yadav granted bail in snake venom case
Elvish’s lawyer Prashant Rathi while interacting with media said, “The court has granted bail to him on two sureties of Rs 50,000 each”. Confirming the news, his close friend and Bigg Boss 17 contestant Anurag Dobhal tweeted, “Uppar waala kabhi galat nahi karega (sic). Bail Granted.”
Meanwhile, recently, Elvish’s parents claimed that their son does not own luxury cars showcased in his YouTube videos. They also told that their son is innocent.
About Elvish Yadav’s snake venom case
In November 2023, Elvish and 5 others were booked under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120 B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code for providing snake venom to a party in Noida’s Sector 51. Reports were also rife that the YouTuber uses animals for his videos. After the news went viral, he vehemently denied the claims calling out media for publishing fake reports.
